hot day

hot and humid day but instead of taking a bus, i walked from the train station
to home, so i can see around the world more closely, recently i found this small restaurant
who sells plants with very reasonable price, she always keeps some kind of different plants
and flower pots on the side, so i like to stop by every time when i walk by,
today, she had lots of colorful flowers
after i left above flower shop, i found this
summeryly flowers as i took steps climbing the hill
so hot....

after i climbed the hill, these blue flowers cheered me up
few more blocks to get home.....
two plants i bought today on the way home
zinnia elegants and coleus
finally, i am home

baby balloon

cardiospermum vines are now clinging to the jute line I put on about a week ago.
this morning, i found more flowers, lots of petite white flowers on the vine here
and there.....so many.  I love the shape of the leaf.  some of the vine are
clinging to other plants or cardiospermum next to it, it's like plants holding
each others hands, very heart warming scene
can you see the vine clinging to the jute line?
found a baby balloon..............
here is another one ♡
soon, this balloon will be puffy and filled with lovely heart shaped seeds in it
other wild plants i collected over the months

when the postman knocks the door

i am standing in the kitchen, cutting some eggplants that a friend
of mine gave me yesterday, i hear familiar sound of scooter
getting closer and closer to me, then the sound stopped all of
the sudden, i feel like i need to prepare for him knock my door,
i can't help myself getting excited, after a few moments of silence,
i hear his footsteps going away and knocks my neighbor's door,
nmmm...wasn't for me this time,
i now have something to look forward to again

cucumber

it maybe because of so much rain, some of my vege plants
are having hard time growing. but there was one doing very well,
and today I was able to harvest very first cucumber from my garden.
rather than hiding it's own taste with too much seasoning, i really wanted to enjoy
natural flavor of it, so i just break it into small bite size and added vinegar&soysouce,
and made it like are fresh pickles
occasionally, sun comes out

strolling

the air was obscured by opaque moisture in the morning
by late afternoon, the sun appears as if she wants to breath
so, I rambled around neighborhood
I can't help myself feeling
so intrigued by small bushy trails
had a luck with this chardonnay today,
the bright yellow label got my attention immidately when I browsed
through wine section and reminded me of this lovely lady
who encourages me often, I don't know anything about
spanish and have no way of communicating with her at the moment,
so I am getting translation help,
here is to you, alice "cheers",
enjoyed this wine

on the way to the store

I like looking at the window side and entrance view around
my neighborhood, each house has its own characteristic appearance,
some are very blunt looking, some decorated with lots of hanging
baskets and pots, ivy vine coveing entire windows and concret wall,
makes it look like it's been there for centries, very welcoming atmosphere

but had no idea what to do with these so green baby tomatoes
.....twisted my brain around and came up with the idea of easy quick pickles
if you happend to have green tomatoes like this here is the recipe

and sesame seeds on top
