red perilla juice to boost your energy during summer
red perilla: 300g
sugar: 300-500g (depending on how sweet you like)
1. rinse perilla carefully, then boil water
2. add perilla in boiling water and let it simmer for 5min on low heat
3. remove perilla leaves
4. add sugar
5. just before you turn off the gas, add vinegar
let this cool down and you can delute this with either water or
sugar free soda(becasue perilla juice is already sweet enough).
put some ice cubes and garnish with mint leaf
i could't resist with the beautiful color.
i made some jello today.
